Brian Fallon of The Gaslight Anthem is getting ready to release a new album with his side-project The Horrible Crowes. Recently, a DJ played a song from the band’s new album without permission. Fallon was pretty pissed about it and posted a blog giving his reasons. It’s a good read and for a long time I’ve had similar feelings, because I’ve felt that music today has lost it’s mystique. Everything is available with a couple clicks of a button. If I want to watch a video or download an album I can, immediately. I can’t decide if this is necessarily a good thing or not, most of the time I feel like it isn’t. Read Fallon’s post here.
